I’ll admit, I haven’t always been a huge fan of drinking my meals. However, I am always looking for ways to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my diet, not only because they’re good for you, but also because they are something I love to eat. Yet, salads and sides can be inconvenient, especially if you’re a person on the move, juggling 18 different bags on your morning commute to work. So, below are two of my favorite recipes to get some fruits and veggies in if you’re in a rush or have a soft spot for smoothies. One is lightly sweet and uses dark kale leaves, turning it a vibrant green color. The second is a creamier smoothie, best for those who might prefer fruits to veggies, especially in the morning.
